Hi there

The past few weeks we have been waiting and waiting for our cupboards to arrive ... So we bought the bus home, parked it on the front verge to have a bit of a play.

Paul has removed the last of the fibreglass from the front and back, taken out the old cab aircon which was super noisy and not very cool, and run the wiring for the lights.

We had enough of waiting for cupboards so decided to go on a little shopping spree for a fridge, aircon, HWS, cooktop and some lights.

Well, wouldn't you know this week we got word that work (that is needed to pay for all this) is about to get hectic between now and Xmas, then the cupboards arrived, and of course the very same day we got told all the other goodies had arrived !!!  

So ..... our lounge room is now full of boxes and a lot of work waiting for us (Yes we have flatpak cupboards).  We will add more pics as we start putting it all together.

Yes, I am very very sorry these pictures have taken so long !!  Currently sitting in Dan n Tracey's living room down south and it hasn't stopped raining for the past 24 hours so we have time to update you all.

Now we have windows that open and close with mesh screens and wait for it ... a door.  Must say we think it is looking fairly flash :) 

Currently the bus is in getting high speed diff and fuel system upgrade.  When it comes home again, we will start work on lining the roof and then start fitting some cupboards.  And get the door painted to match the rest of the bus.

Things are starting to take shape

After a hectic month of work and bus, we are now proud to present the new paint job and interior panelling.  The bus is now in getting the windows and door fitted.  Can't wait to see the results :)  More photos on the web album link.

What a mess !!

As you can see the bus has now been stripped and it probably getting the 1st undercoat of paint as we speak.

Once the painting is finished (hopefully end of next week) we have to put the interior panels in, then off it goes to have the new windows and doors fitted.

Next photos will be of a new bus :)  Stay tuned for the next update in a few weeks.

It's looking empty !!

Sorry it has been awhile but these things happen.  The bus spent about 3 weeks at the mechanics and is still due to go back again for a few more oil leaks !!  Passed its rego inspection, we are now classed as a panel van !!!!

Paul has been very busy stripping the inside of the bus as you can see.  We have no doors or windows at the moment so we are very lucky to have the workshop to store it in :) 

Next step is to have the rust around the windows sandblasted and fill in the few sections where there will be no windows.  Then we might have to look at getting a back door for winter and maybe the windows back in .....

The Beginning

Hi everyone,

As you can see we picked up the bus this week.  Now the fun starts with stripping it out and trying to make a home :)  Not sure how often we will be updating this at the moment, but stay tuned for progress.
